Aboriginal Services
NCNS is one of the largest providers of Aboriginal services in the Penrith area, through Koolyangarra, our Aboriginal Child & Family Centre at Cranebrook. Programs include: Aboriginal playgroups, cultural programs, women’s groups, men’s groups, young mums, kids dance and art, youth mentoring, family support.
INTERGRATED TEAM CARE - (ITC)
ITC (previously Closing The Gap) is a national initiative aimed at improving the health, wellbeing, and life expectancy of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The program focuses on reducing health inequalities by addressing preventable illnesses, improving access to culturally safe healthcare, and supporting community-led solutions. Through partnerships between governments, health services, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, ITC works to create lasting change and ensure all Australians have the same opportunities for a long and healthy life.
Child & Family Programs
NCNS understand the importance of family, and the role of parents as children’s first teachers. NCNS offers a range of supports to develop resilient, respectful, safe and happy families and children. Programs include….playgroups, breakfast clubs, family fun days, early learning and literacy activities and more.
