Youth Team Update April 2020

The NCNS Youth Team may be not physically present but we are well and truly still available to all young people. Young people are welcome to contact us through social media, phone, text or email.

We are available to set up virtual catch ups if anyone would like to see a familiar face. This time has been challenging but in many ways it has also been an exciting time for us as we are learning new ways to connect with young people.

NCNS Youth have been running weekly challenges and now starting a virtual hangout space. Most communication and promotion has been done through Instagram so follow our page @ncnsyouthteam for updates. We have also been in regular contact with the young people we usually work with via messages.

“I miss seeing everyone’s faces. I have met some new young people through live feeds on Instagram which is exciting. I hope everyone is taking the time to recharge, work out what’s important to them and keeping in contact with each other. As a quote in High School Musical says: We’re all in this together!”  Joe Benchoam, NCNS Youth Worker

“Now being the school holidays I’m missing everyone more than ever. I can’t wait to be seeing everyone in person again and for our next school holiday program to kick off.”  Sami Thoms, NCNS Youth Worker
