Historic House – Thornton Hall, restored to its former glory by owner and heritage building specialist, Peter Cipollone was officially opened yesterday.
Speeches were delivered by Laura Player (descendant and great, great grand daughter of original owners), Peter and Jackie Cipollone. Many dignitaries were in attendance, including Penrith City Mayor, John Thain.
Thornton Hall will shortly become the administration block for the new Greenwood Penrith Childcare Centre that has been built on the land. The Centre will be opening next month. Photos by Graham Collins and CG.
