During the school holidays NCNS & Northcott joined forces to put on a Messy Play Day, for children 0-9 years old.
The aim of the day was to entice families to come along and explore different sensory activities and engage with our staff.
It ended up being a massive day, with 112 people attending, 70 of which were children!
If you were afraid to get messy, this was NOT the place to be!
Activities included:
- Squishing slime
- Shaving cream and playdough
- Coloured rice and water beads
- Getting creative with painting
- Chalk drawing
- Building with Duplo
- Bubbles!
- Driving trucks
- Building Castles in the sand
- Experimenting with pouring and spilling water
During all these amazing activities, staff enjoyed great conversations with parents about child development needs as well as cheap easy ways to use sensory activities at home.
