Nepean Community & Neighbourhood Services

NCNS is an innovative grass-roots organisation based from five centres in the Penrith LGA. We work through a model of partnership and collaboration, providing quality programs to support disadvantaged and vulnerable members of the local community to enable strength, inclusion and respect.

An important element of our work is provided through Koolyangarra, our Aboriginal Family Centre in Cranebrook – which is the hub for our large range of Aboriginal support and community programs.

Youth, family support and community programs are run through our centres at Glenmore Park, South Penrith, Kingswood Park & Cranebrook.

NCNS celebrated Harmony Day with its first Harmony Day Event, a community feast!

We all got to enjoy delicious food brought in by our local community and staff, sharing with each other all the amazing things each different culture has to offer.

Thank you to everyone who came along and shared the foods that represent themselves and for celebrating who you are!
